Second Blog

This week I drew a picture of the flower we are taking apart.
I took apart a flower and looked at the parts. The stem, and petals, and carpal, and pistils.
I like working on this project because I am learning new things that are fun .
I like flowers and learned there are a lot of different kinds.

First Blog Post

The parts of a flower are petals, pistil, stem, carpel, root hairs, and the root tip . We looked at hibiscus flowers.


I would like to learn the different kinds of flowers. How many flowers are in the world? Do all flowers have the same parts? and where do hibiscus flowers grow?


There are more than 240,000 species of flowering plants. There are many different colors of hibiscus flowers. Hibiscus flowers in tropical climates. Flowers have the same main parts but some have extra parts.
